You get to live a lot longer letting go,
Than you do hung up on fantasia and beautified
bits,
You get to live a lot longer somber,
Than you do living everyday like it were your last,
Sure,
Recklessness sounds orgasmic,
And unfiltered focus noble,
But life lived with a purpose,
Loses all meaning and it ends up not being life
at all,
The beauty in life is to know it’s meaningless,
Just one great tread to the grave,
And if nothing means anything,
Then you can do anything,
You get to experience more beauty in solitude,
Than you do surrounded in a host of friends,
family, and well-wishers,
You get to learn a lot about life by living it,
Than you do looking for gurus, coaches, or
parental figures,
You get to learn a lot about strength from
weakness,
Than you do looking for masculinity videos on the
internet,
You get to know the beauty in persistence by
giving up,
Than you do gritting your teeth through years of making
unnecessary mistakes,
You get to know God’s love,
By walking among the scum that they all despise,
Than you do by going to church every Sunday,
Finally,
You get to learn a lot about human psychology,
By knowing am just a dummy who thinks he knows so
much about life,
But sits in the darkness all day,
Waiting for the next time I hold my computer,
And begin telling the world all the madness in my
head.
