Hey Ace,
I’ve got some brews cooking up in the barn,
Dacy’s coming over, with Lyn and Dan,
I know you like fantasy more than what’s real
like us,
But hey, come on, to kiss is fun,
Plus life is wide, and right, surreal, with
pearls,
You’ll never get to joy or even peace with cast,
So smile, and groom, it’s just a night,
For Pete’s sake Ace, it’s just a poem, duh!
Hey Ace,
The sun is up, it’s picnic time,
We’ve got some food, some tales, some songs, and
wine,
We’ll watch some birds and take a hike,
Maybe watch the sky, later ride our bikes,
I know you’d rather sit alone think, brood, and
write,
Maybe throw a fit like you did last night,
You could have kissed a girl but you fell to
pride,
But I hope you come the folks are getting wary
yeah,
They think you’re cocky now and they feel
despised,
I got that feeling too, your way of life is
spite,
But I hope you come, tell us we weren’t right,
And take a shower dude,
It’s just a poem, duh!
Hey Ace,
I hate this but I can’t resist,
All that arrogant talk and riding out in mists,
You’re really crazy, weird, and maybe that is
cool,
But I can’t stand you, Ace, I hate your guts and
books,
You think you’re smart and pious, like a genius
right,
With all your words and silence, all your, “hate
me too”
All your weird opinions and your vengeful tone,
I never liked you, Ace, so maybe take a hike,
And find a cave to live ‘cause see with men you’d
die,
I hope you make the pages, like Bukowski right?
And maybe find a girl, you’re a man, come on!
Just go and find a life, for Pete’s sake my dude,
Put a smile on it, it’s just a poem, duh!
